Kingdom Kidz – Quality Child Care in Whangarei

Kingdom Kidz was established in 2007. Our centre is situated on a beautiful 3 acre rural property in Glenbervie, on the outskirts of Tikipunga [approx 10 mins. from Whangarei CBD].

Business founder and owner Lisa Burton was struggling to find a quality childcare facility in Whangarei that catered for what she specifically wanted for her own children. Driven by this quest for quality Lisa, with help from her family established Kingdom Kidz, and has successfully filled a niche in the industry, i.e. delivering a high standard of education, top quality nutritional menu and caring, nurturing & involved staff.

Parents have often referred to our centre as a home away from home with staff who operate as a family team.

The property itself is also home to a wide selection of animals and native wildlife such as rabbits, ducks, pukekos, sheep and eels. All which is visible from the centre fences. The children love to be involved in the daily care of feeding the animals.

We have 2 areas:

Under 2’s  for 3 months old to 2 year olds and a Over 2’s for 2 year olds to 6 year olds.

What our service includes:

All meals and snacks(Except Friday in the Over 2’s), sunscreen and wipes for nappy changes.

What to bring

Each day your child will need 3 changes of clothes, nappies/pull-ups/nappy cream, if applicable, a sunhat or winter hat, gumboots for our outside walks, any medication or creams needed by your child. In the Over 2’s on Friday your child will have to bring a lunch box for the day.
